Original works in Ottoman cartograhy were revealed in the first half of the 16th century.
The examples that directed Ottoman cartridge to the end of this century consist of works of eastern and western sources.
Piri Reis is the most important known name of 16th century Ottoman cartridge.
This Istanbul map is inspired from Piri Reis maps and hand painted with acrylic paintings on ash tree Bülent Yaşar in Eskişehir.
